Wag-a-thon in Dana Point 2007

On Saturday, April 28, 2007 we attended the Wag-a-thon in Dana Point put on by Pet Project Foundation. This fun filled family pet event went from 8:30am to 1pm on Dana Point Harbor Island. There was a 4K Walk with the dogs, a performance by Disc Dogs in Southern California, prizes, contests and lots of fun products for you and your pet at the Bowser Bazaar.

They had a special appearance from Coal, who starred in the movie "The Shaggy Dog" and Kathryn Joosten who plays Karen McCloskey on ABC's "Desperate Housewives".

Pet Expo 2007

Since our new website hadn't launched before this event, we wanted to post about a past event that we had attended in April 2007. At the Orange County Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa, located at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, they had an event called America's Family Pet Expo, Orange County.

There are tons of animal world exhibitors that gather at these events to "tell their story" to the public. These exhibitors include manufacturers, retailers, groomers, veterinarians, hobbyist groups, humane rescue organizations, humane societies, breeders, etc. There are so many animals on display and there are educational demonstrations and seminars that you can watch. Animals range from dogs, cats, birds, fish and reptiles. The entertainment alone is a great reason to attend this event!

At this point in time we had 12 cards to feature at the event and they were all of our Miss Tessa May featured in different outfits. Recently, we had been blessed with an additional Brussels Griffon to our family, his name is Chance and he came to the Expo with Tessa. It was a Friday to Sunday event and the weather was pretty warm. Noa, attended the event as well (who ended up being a model for a few cards at the October 2007 photo shoot), his owner, Donelle came to help out on the Friday of the Expo so he came along to help draw some attention to the booth.

Tessa May Photo Shoots

The month of October was photo shoot month. We had scheduled a few different dates to have photo shoots done to branch out from Brussels Griffon Greeting Cards to launch the different breeds we are going to launch in our greeting card biz.

We have taken some photos of our photo shoot experiences for you to take a look at, hope you enjoy a behind the scenes look at the creation of some of our greeting cards.

We have officially launched our website. Thank you to all who have been so patient in waiting to view all of our greeting cards that we have available online! We are so excited to share with you all the adorable dog greeting cards that we have to offer. As well as taking the time to view our blog which will be updated as regularly as possible with what is going on with Tessa May and her furry friends.
